| From July 13 to August 2, 2007, the American Agricultural Trade Office (ATO) cooperated with various American food institutes and enterprises to hold a promotion at 8 Will’s Gym outlets throughout China’s mega-center, Shanghai. SMH organized the event taking care of PR, booking celebrities, cooking demonstrations, performances and other relative logistics. The purpose of the promotion was to educate Shanghai consumers about high quality healthy American foods. And furthermore, help them realize the importance of diet and physical activity in creating a healthy, vigorous and enjoyable life. The idea of living a healthy lifestyle is growing in importance to Shanghai citizens. With positive development in living standards, more consumers are showing higher awareness of healthy foods. |
