ASMI China in association with ATO Chengdu conducted 2 training programmes for the chefs in Chengdu on March 30th and 31st respectively. One of the two chef programmes was held in a Chengdu hotel and the other in a Vocational School in Chengdu. The programs targeted both established chefs working in local hotels and restaurants and the trainee chef students studying in the vocational school in order to educate these two group of chefs about the nutrional benefits of the Alaska seafood products. Seafood products introduced at the programmes included Alaska King Crab; Snow Crab and Black Cod.
In addtion, an Alaska seafood recipe has been designed and produced for the programmes in Chengdu.
